Robin the wonder boy!
Are you old enough to remember the "Batman and Robin" comics of the 1950's? That was many years before I met my own Robin: ROBIN WARNE- DENTIST EXTRAODINAIRE. I grew up in a time when dental hygiene was not widely known about in the circles I moved in: no television adverts, for a start. Our house didn't even have electricity and televisions won't run on gas! I only visited the "School dentist" when I had raging toothache. I left home at 17 and was introduced to a toothbrush and toothpaste, but no mention of a dentist! At 18 I moved to Halifax Over the next few years, I had some very distressing moments; I have been known to faint in the waiting room. Eventually, I plucked up the courage to go for a "check up" at the practice where I had met that gentle dentist years ago. He had retired, but I was introduced to a dentist whose certificates on the walls proclaimed his belief in "painless dentistry". I thought all my ships had come home! All went well for a few years; I had intravenous valium every visit and he did all dental hygiene treatment himself. I thought I had cracked it, he was lovely. However, all good things come to an end. I moved to Sheffield to remarry (My first husband having died some time ago) Once again I was faced with the dreaded choice. I was referred to a female dentist and we bonded instantly, always encouraging! I was quite happy with her treatment and attitude, as long as I had my husband by my side, holding my hand! I mustn't ever be able to settle. 3 years ago we moved to Huddersfield. I like to know something about where I'm living, so I read everything that comes through the letter box; and what should I find but a very complimentary article on one Robin Warne! I was intrigued. A dentist with so wide an experience, so much training AND, certified in sedation, the list goes on. Had I finally found MY dentist? Our initial discussion had me in my usual floods of tears (I am a baby!). Robin handled it with aplomb. He didn't fuss, nor stand there not knowing what to do. He spoke to me as an adult not a child, but as an equal, in fact. Robin explained what he could do to improve my appalling mixture of many dentists' work over the years. We spoke about the options and alternatives. I really felt as if he was listening to me and taking notice of what I was saying, and that it mattered. For the first time in my life I freely go to the dentist alone, without my husband to hold my hand, (never known before!) In fact when I saw Robin two weeks ago, he reminded me of my first visit to him, and compared it to my last one. The difference was incredible. I am confident and at ease. He really is my: ROBIN THE WONDER BOY!
He has my undying gratitude and is top of my recommendation list.

I don't supppose going to the dentist is pleasant at anytime but at least with these guys youre guaranteed the upmost professionalisn and exemplary service. Ive never been disappointed when having dental work carried our here by Robin Warne. I made the mistake of having a front filling done at a dentist in London and had to have the whole thing reconstructed by Mr. Warne. It's obvious that he's a real professional from his credentials and the key is you always know that you'll be happy with the results. He's consultative, honest and particularly flexible with his time without charging the earth. Yes, it's not cheap but the value for money is completely undeniable, the work is carried out in comfortable and pleasant surroundings which does in truth put you at ease. d I'd certainly recommend him to anyone.

Over a period of 2 years I had 8 pairs of dentures made. I went to dentists, consultants, denturists and I couldn't cope with any of them at all. They made me very depressed and ill, and I used to cry to my husband because I couldn't even eat a sandwich properly. My daughter has helped me to pay for them but I would have willingly got a load they are so well worth it. I am absolutely delighted with them, they are marvellous I don't know how to thank Robin enough.

Dr Robin Warne has built a reputation since qualifying from the University of Leeds in 1985. After several years in general practice his interests in advanced dental care and techniques grew. Since qualifying Robin has studied in 8 European countries as well as the United States along side some of the most respected clinicians in the world allowing him to provide dentistry to the best of his ability.
He has a Masters degree in Implant Dentistry and a post graduate certificate in Sedation and Pain Management. Robin receives many referrals from other dentists for advanced dental care and implant treatment and as testimony to this has treated several dentists and their families.
